Little Igyn

Little Igyn is a cosy one bedroom lodge nestled in peaceful open countryside just 3 miles from Abersoch and surrounded by beautiful local beaches, making it the perfect base to explore the Llŷn Peninsula. With plenty of parking available for boats, trailers and additional vehicles, plus open fields around the property for walking and exercising dogs, it offers a relaxing countryside escape where pets are very welcome.

Situated next door to Pennant Igyn Cottage, the lodge is open plan with a comfortable bedroom and living area, a small en-suite bathroom with shower, toilet and sink, a breakfast bar with stools, TV, radiators and an electric fire to keep things cosy all year round. Please note there are no cooking facilities, making Little Igyn ideal as a comfortable “home from home” base with its own private entrance.

Guests are welcome to enjoy the shared outdoor spaces including the garden, patio and driveway, along with access to the surrounding fields where dogs can run freely and guests can take in the peaceful surroundings. Our fields connect to Foel Fawr National Trust monument, known locally as the “Pot Jam”, where a short walk rewards you with stunning panoramic views across the Llŷn Peninsula, Snowdonia, Anglesey, South Wales and even the Wicklow Mountains in Ireland.

After a busy day exploring nearby beaches, coastal paths and countryside, relax and watch the sun set low in the west before enjoying the incredible night skies. With very little light pollution, the stars shine brightly overhead, creating the perfect peaceful retreat. Fast EV charging is also available on request prior to your stay.

Pennant Igyn provides an ideal base for visiting the beautiful North Wales sandy beaches. Visit Hells mouth for surfing, Whistling Sands for walks, Nefyn and the famous Ty-coch inn for a meal and a drink on the beach, Abersoch for water sports and many more. There are great walks along a network of local footpaths and cycle routes to local pubs for a meal.
